The official app for Milan public transport
ATM's own app is the first download for public transport. It sells tickets and passes, shows stops and waiting times, plans journeys and fares, publishes real-time service changes and can book the on-demand night Radiobus. A digital ticket must be validated before travel; at metro gates, present its QR code upright to the reader.
Taxi apps that work with licensed taxis
For a city taxi, use an app connected to licensed drivers rather than confusing a taxi with a pre-booked private NCC transfer. Availability can tighten during major fairs and fashion events, so keep a second booking method and use marked taxi ranks outside railway stations when an app shows a long wait.
inTaxi operates in Milan through participating radiotaxi services. Its official site says passengers can request a taxi, specify practical needs such as passenger or luggage space, save frequent places and choose cash, card or in-app payment.
Taxiblu is a Milan-focused radiotaxi service with its own booking app. The official service presents the estimated fare before the request, making it a useful local alternative when you want another licensed-taxi channel.
